Where Do I Find Framer Templates?

The Framer Marketplace is the easiest place to start — but it's not the only option. Here's where to find Framer templates and what to check before buying.

The Framer Marketplace

The most convenient place to start is the official Framer Marketplace. It's built into Framer, easy to browse, and every template there has passed a review by the Framer team. The bar for getting in is genuinely high — not every creator makes it through.

One thing worth knowing upfront: Framer doesn't handle payments. Every purchase goes directly to the creator — through their own checkout, whether that's Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, or their own site. Framer is just the discovery layer.

That said, rejection from the Marketplace doesn't always mean a template is bad. Framer turns down submissions for various reasons (a category being too crowded, for example). Some of the best templates you'll find are sold outside the Marketplace entirely.

Google, social media, and creator sites

If you find a creator whose style you like, follow them — most active Framer creators are on X (Twitter), where they share new releases, behind-the-scenes process, and occasional discounts.

Pinterest is surprisingly good for this too. A huge amount of web design work is built in Framer now, and Pinterest's visual format makes it easy to find styles you're drawn to before you even know the template name.

Instagram works similarly — search for Framer templates or web design and you'll find creators sharing previews and launch announcements.

Creator websites and third-party stores

Many creators sell templates directly from their own sites — and this is often where you'll find things you won't see on the Marketplace. Independent stores sometimes run sales, bundle deals, or All Access passes that give you everything for a one-time price. New templates get added regularly, and creators tend to offer more direct support when you buy from them.

This is actually how all Framer template purchases work — even on the Marketplace. You're always buying directly from the creator, not from Framer.

What to check before buying

Not all templates are equal. A few things worth verifying before you purchase:

  • Is the creator a Framer Partner? It's not a requirement for quality, but it signals serious investment in the platform.

  • Is there a live preview? Screenshots are easy to polish — a live preview shows you how the template actually performs and feels.

  • Does the creator offer support? Check if there's an email, a way to ask questions, or documentation included.

  • Is the template actively maintained? A creator who's still publishing new work is more likely to update existing templates when Framer changes something.
